The Smartest Smartwatch? Pixel Watch 4 Brings Gemini AI Health Coaching to Your Wrist

Published on

While the new Pixel 10 phones are grabbing headlines, the Google Pixel Watch 4 might be the most personal AI device yet. Google has unveiled its latest smartwatch with Gemini AI deeply integrated into the new Fitbit app, transforming it into a personalized health and wellness coach.
The new AI feature can create custom fitness and sleep plans tailored to your body’s data, measure the real-time impact of your training, and even answer your health-related questions in a conversational style. This moves beyond simple tracking to provide actionable, intelligent guidance directly from your wrist.
The Pixel Watch 4 also boasts significant hardware upgrades. It comes in two sizes with a larger domed screen and is the first smartwatch to offer satellite-based SOS for emergency situations where there’s no cellular signal. In a welcome move towards sustainability and consumer rights, it’s also the first Google watch designed for screen and battery repairs.
This new watch is a key part of Google’s broader AI ecosystem launched alongside the Pixel 10 phones and Pixel Buds 2a. While the Pixel 10’s “Magic Cue” organizes your digital life, the Pixel Watch 4 aims to organize your physical well-being, all powered by the same underlying Gemini intelligence.
