China Airlines Boosts Economy with New Daily Taichung-Okinawa Flight Route

Published on

China Airlines is expanding its reach in Japan with the introduction of a new daily flight between Taichung and Okinawa. This addition enhances the airline’s network significantly, bringing the total number of weekly round-trip flights between Taiwan and Japan to over 170. The route will be serviced by an Airbus A321neo, with Flight CI310 taking off from Taichung at 10:00 a.m. and landing in Okinawa at 12:40 p.m. The return, Flight CI311, is scheduled to depart Okinawa at 1:40 p.m., reaching Taichung by 2:10 p.m.

Anticipating increased demand, the airline is set to launch a second daily service on August 13. This additional service will see Flight CI312 leaving Taichung at 3:20 p.m. and arriving in Okinawa at 6:00 p.m. The return trip, Flight CI313, will depart from Okinawa at 7:00 p.m., touching down in Taichung at 7:30 p.m.

With these new services, China Airlines aims to operate approximately 30 round-trip flights to Okinawa every week. This expansion complements the existing routes from Taipei and Kaohsiung, further enhancing connectivity between Taiwan and Japan.

The additional flights are expected to bolster travel options for both business and leisure passengers, offering greater flexibility and convenience. This strategic move underscores the airline’s commitment to strengthening ties between Taiwan and Japan, providing more opportunities for cultural and economic exchanges.
